VERTICAL SHAFT CRUSHER

What is the Vertical Shaft Crusher?

CrusherTech vertical shaft impact crushers are specialized crushers used for efficient material crushing. These crushers utilize a rotating impeller or rotor to deliver impacts to materials, facilitating the crushing process. Unlike other impact crushers, it has a unique design with the principle of breaking the stone against the stone.

Vertical Shaft Impact Crushers are preferred at the last stage of the crushing and screening process. It successfully performs to break wet, moisty and sticky materials. The end material is relatively drier.

Advantages of Vertical Shaft Crushers

High Efficiency: Vertical shaft impact crushers efficiently break down materials using their high rotational speeds and effective impact mechanisms.

Precise Crushing: The unique design of the impeller ensures precise and accurate material size reduction.

Low Wear and Maintenance: The effective crushing design reduces wear and maintenance requirements.

Components of Vertical Shaft Crushers

Closed Rotor: The closed rotor is the section where the crushing process takes place. The closed rotor encapsulates materials, subjecting them to impact and producing more homogeneous products. Furthermore, it mitigates environmental effects by maintaining a cleaner workspace.

Open Rotor: The open rotor applies high-speed impacts externally to materials, resulting in faster stone fragmentation. This leads to higher processing speed and efficiency. Furthermore, it enables the reduction of materials to smaller sizes, enhancing product quality.

Feed Tube: The feed tube of vertical shaft impact crushers serves as the pathway through which materials are introduced into the crusher's crushing chamber. Materials are directed into the crusher through the feed tube and subjected to the impact of the rotor's high-speed rotation. The feed tube helps regulate the flow of materials, ensuring a controlled and consistent feed into the crushing chamber.

Rotor Assembly: The rotor assembly is the heart of vertical shaft impact crushers, where materials experience rapid and controlled impacts. Comprising various wear-resistant components, the rotor assembly efficiently breaks down incoming materials, enabling the production of finely crushed products.

Body: The primary structural component of vertical shaft impact crushers is the body. It provides support and enclosure for all other components.
